Location: ,

Every year, Paris Fashion Week brings some of the best fashion designers, stylists, and creators to the City of Love. With so many people coming to town for these fabulous events, whether Mens, Couture or Women’s Fashion Week, there is always a need for a place to stay.

For those of us who are privileged enough to attend Paris Fashion Week (PFW), finding the perfect hotel is an essential part of the experience. Not only do you want a hotel that offers stunning amenities and luxury accommodations, but you also want one that will provide a comfortable and inspiring atmosphere during such a hectic time to suit all budgets.

Below I have shared reviews on 3 hotels I have stayed at during PFW season and out of season.

Hotel Bowmann – Parisian Luxury

Hotel Bowmann, a luxurious boutique hotel, is located in the 8th Arrondissement of Paris near many popular attractions such as The Louvre Museum and Champs-Élysées, a great distance from where most fashion shows are located. It’s also within walking distance from several metro stations making it easy to explore all that Paris has to offer. As for accommodations, Hotel Bowmann is truly luxurious. If you’re looking for a place that gives you all the Parisian Chic, luxurious interior feels with gold accents, this is the place for you! It meets all the aesthetical requirements if you are a fashion creator and want to create great Instagram Reels and TikTok videos. You will have no trouble letting people know you’re in Paris and what for.

Hotel Bowmann has well-appointed rooms that feature extremely comfortable and luxurious beds and modern amenities such as flat screen TVs and high speed wifi. Each room also has its own private bathroom with a shower and tub for added convenience. I booked and stayed in the Executive Room with a lovely view of Church Saint Augustin. They also have a penthouse room which has a direct view of the Eiffel Tower, gorgeous.

The service at Hotel Bowmann was 10/10! From the moment I checked in until I checked out every member of staff was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating. I stayed during Fall/Winter 22 (F/W22) season in March 2022 with my 9 month old son and husband. During our stay they made sure that all of my needs were met without fail and went above and beyond when I asked questions about restaurants or attractions nearby. Whenever we left our room, they made sure to check on me throughout my stay making sure that everything was perfect-which it was!

In addition to its amazing location and wonderful accommodations, Hotel Bowmann also offers a variety of amenities that make it an ideal place to stay during Paris Fashion Week (or any other time). It has a restaurant called 99 Haussmann which serves up delicious French cuisine as well as an outdoor terrace where you can relax after a long day of running around show to show or just exploring the city. There is also a bar serving up cocktails until late into the night so you can enjoy drinks with friends or colleagues before heading back to your room for some much needed rest. And to add they have a spa and wellness facilities you can also check out. I unfortunately didn’t have the time to but I will do it on my next visit for sure. Breakfast is a buffet that serves up a huge variety of hot and cold foods. Coffee was great too!

All in all, my stay at Hotel Bowmann during last year’s Paris Fashion Week in March was nothing short of spectacular! From its prime location near some of the city’s most popular attractions to its top-notch service and modern amenities, this hotel definitely exceeded my expectations.

Whether you are attending an important fashion show or just need somewhere comfortable like home during your visit to Paris, I highly recommend staying at Hotel Bowmann, you won’t be disappointed!

Alexis Adjei Review on SO Paris Hotel

SO Paris Hotel – The IT Hotel

As soon as I stepped into SO Paris Hotel, I knew I was in for something special. Located in the 1st arrondissement on the Seine River Bank this five-star hotel offers both classic French elegance, modern architecture and interiors. From its expansive lobby with beautiful chandeliers to its cozy lounge area adorned with artwork from local artists, the hotel has an inviting atmosphere that makes it feel like home away from home. It is worth noting that SO Paris is a new hotel that opened weeks before fashion week season S/S 23 in September 2022..

I arrived on the busy night of their launch party in collaboration with French design house Patou, which I attended with my friend Editor and Founder of GRACE Magazine. Prior to arriving we learned that renowned designer and creative director of Patou, Guillaume Henry designed all the staff uniforms at SO Paris which we loved of course. During my stay they had a display of mannequins in their brightly lit foyer adorned in the latest high fashion streetwear from designers around the world such as Rotate by Birger Christensen. They also hosted the Givenchy S/S 23 show after-party (which we shamelessly tried to sneak our way into with no luck haha) making it THE Fashion Hotel to stay in during PFW.

The rooms at SO Paris Hotel are truly divine. From standard double rooms to grand suites, each room is spacious, airy and full of natural light—perfect for taking a break from all the hustle and bustle of fashion week. However if you have a big glam team, you might want to upgrade from a standard room. The beds are made with luxurious linens and feature goose down pillows for extra comfort. The bathrooms are equipped with heated floors and rain showers for ultimate relaxation after a long day on your feet.

But arguably my favourite thing about this hotel is its restaurant— THAT VIEW of the River Seine each morning during breakfast took my breath away each and every single time. Breakfast, lunch or dinner could be enjoyed either inside or outside on their grand, mirrored roof terrace overlooking the magical city skyline. I only ever had time for breakfast, which was a blessing because the next meal would come in the evening, however their breakfast was fresh and delectable ordered straight from the chef’s kitchen to our table. I wouldn’t recommend their coffee however. SO Paris had an array of amenities however there was just no time to explore them all with our busy schedules, so it is worth exploring more of what they have to offer here.

All in all, SO Paris Hotel is one of my favourite places to stay while attending fashion week in Paris. From its chic design to its delicious food offerings to its luxurious amenities to being the IT fashion hotel to stay at, it provides a much-needed oasis amidst all the chaos of fashion week life! If you’re planning on visiting this incredible city anytime soon, be sure to check out this lovely hotel—you won’t regret it!

Beige Hotel –  Modern Aesthetics & Budget Friendly

Hotel Beige is a boutique chic and stylish 4-star hotel located in the heart of Paris. During fashion week, this hotel provides the perfect place to stay for fashion editors, bloggers, photographers, stylists and influencers who are looking for a modern but chic place to stay on a budget. Its minimalistic interior offers a blank canvas for those who desire class without the fuss. The name is a big give away, everything inside is BEIGE.

Hotel Beige is located in the 9th arrondissement of Paris and just a 10-minute walk from the famous Champs-Elysees. The hotel is within walking distance of many popular attractions including the Louvre Museum, Grand Palais, Place de la Concorde, and Tuileries Garden. It is also conveniently located near numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques.

My stay here was short and sweet. I visited outside of the fashion season as David and I needed a place to rest our heads on our 8 hour drive from London to Monaco! However the hotel itself has all the modern amenities one could desire during their stay if you are here to just work. It is very clean, the interiors are lovely and aesthetically pleasing, in terms of amenities they offer breakfast at their chic Cafe Creme down stairs and they have a warm and cute honesty bar which is a free self service cosy room offering hot beverages and snacks throughout your stay. There’s also a concierge service available 24 hours a day to help you make reservations or arrange transportation to your next destination.

The rooms at Hotel Beige depending on which room you book (its a boutique hotel in every sense) can be spacious yet cosy, with some featuring high ceilings, hardwood floors and large windows that offer plenty of natural light. I stayed in the Deluxe Room which had double french doors and a balcony with a view of the busy Parisian streets. It was lovely.  Our room came equipped with air conditioning, satellite television and complimentary Wi-Fi access. The bathroom was modern with beige accents and natural wood features with well appointed marble tiles throughout as well as luxurious spa products from renowned brands like Rituals. Additionally, all rooms come with daily housekeeping services as well as complimentary newspaper delivery every morning at breakfast time.

All in all, Hotel Beige is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a luxurious yet affordable stay during Paris Fashion Week. With its convenient location near many popular attractions as well as the necessary amenities it is perfect for Fashion Week—and at reasonable prices too! Whether you’re attending fashion shows or sightseeing around town, this chic 4-star hotel is sure to provide you with a precious experience that will leave you wanting to come back again soon!
